Young Czech pianist, composer and arranger Beata Hlavenkova, known as a leader of her own Trio and also from bands like S'Aight, Open Sextet and Eternal Seekers, has recorded her first solo album (made exclusively of her own compositions) in New York with well known US musicians: trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, saxophonist Rich Perry, bassist Matt Clohesy, drumer Jon Wikan and pedal steel guitarist Dave Easley. Lenka Dusilova provided vocals.
