Not a very long time ago one of the most popular Czech rock singers of the eightieths, Michal Prokop, patiently explained in every interview that the career of musician was definitively over for him and that he might occasionally sing somewhere, but that he did not expect anything else. But it is different now: there has been just released a record album Live Unplugged that Michal Prokop recorded with the guitar player Luboš Andršt and violinist Jan Hrubý.
It is the record of the last year concert with the repertoire set already from the end of eightieths and very thoroughly checked. The album includes original songs (acoustic versions of the hits Bitva o Karlův most - Battle of the Charles Bridge or Blues o spolykaných slovech - Blues About Swallowed Words, so far non released piece Ztracená myšlenka - Lost Thought) and also time-tested blues standards. Live Unplugged has been released eighteen years after the formation of unique trio, nevertheless the waiting has paid off. Sparkling harmony, jazzing up solo entrances, musician's proficiency - these are the typical features of the trio that has no parallel on our musical scene.
