This famous black-and-white movie shot in 1928 by French film director Henri Fescourt was re-introduced after a thorough reconstruction in 1993 at Prague. National Theatre. This coincided with the premiere, live presentation of Jan Klusák exquisite incidental music, performed by the Bohemian Symphony orchestra Prague. Bohemia Music and the National Film Archive were inspired by this event, and the centennial of the movie industry, to release this particular CD recording.
Slavný černobílý film natočený v roce 1928 francouzským režisérem Henri Fescourtem měl svou obnovenou premiéru (po rekonstrukci) roku 1993 v Národním divadle v Praze. Tuto neobyčejnou událost provázela další “ premiéra”. Jan Klusák zkomponoval krásnou filmovou hudbu, která byla realizována “ živě ”. Tato událost a 100 let výročí kinematografie inspirovala Bohemia Music ve spolupráci s Národním filmovým archivem k vydání tohoto CD.
