The Quartetto con flauto chamber ensemble presents a musical form which has been in existence for almost 300 years. From the baroque sonata the ”Bach of Bohemia” Jan Dismas Zelenka, through Jiří Čart‘s and Karel Stamic‘s classical trio-sonatas, to the 20th century with a Madrigal Sonata by Bohuslav Martinů, then a return to the baroque ages with the contemporary composer František Xaver Thuri, known jokingly to his friends as ”the last living baroque composer”.
